Tropical Green Smoothie

Servings : 2 smoothies

Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups of water ( 1 ½ C if you want it thicker)
  • 2 cups of packed fresh spinach
  • 1 TBSP of nut butter
  • ½ TBSP ground flax seed
  • ½ TBSP chia seeds
  • optional drizzle of honey
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 heaping cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 heaping cup frozen mango
  • 1 fresh orange peeled. ( I like to use cara cara)

Directions: 

  1. In the order listed, place all smoothie ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. The order you place the ingredients in the blender matters. Always start with your liquid, greens, spreads, seeds, and end with frozen on top for a smooth and easy blend.
  3. If your fruits are not frozen for this recipe make sure to add ice. ENJOY!
