Meatball Subs

This meatball sub recipe is great for a crowd or busy weeknight when you're short on time. Toss some frozen meatballs into a pan or a slow cooker with your favorite marinara and let the good times roll!

  • 1 package frozen meatballs
  • 1 24 ounce jar marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Sliced provolone cheese
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Hoagie rolls
  • Other toppings if desired (fresh parsley, diced onions, parmesan cheese, or chips - not kidding)


  1. Add frozen meatballs and marinara sauce to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 4-8 hours.
  3. To make sandwiches, add meatballs and marinara to the hoagie rolls and toast whole sandwiches under broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
